How to connect
BingX, step by step.
Pick the method that suits you — both land in the same ledger. Stuck? See connecting accounts in the help centre.
- Log in to BingX and open your profile icon, then API Management.
- Click Create API.
- Enter a label for the key and complete the verification step.
- Keep only read permission on the key and do not enable trading or withdrawals.
- Copy the API key and secret key and store them somewhere secure.
- In HashBooks, choose BingX under Integrations and paste the key and secret.
- Log in to your BingX account and go to Assets, then Asset Records.
- Select Export. The file is CSV and can cover any date range.
- Alternatively, open the Help Center, click Export Statements/Orders, choose Transaction history or a trade history type, select the time range (UTC+8), and click Generate. Records go back up to one year, some regions and risk-controlled users get 30 days only, and you can generate 5 transaction history and 5 trade history statements per month. The help article describes this output as an Excel spreadsheet.
- Copy the rows into the HashBooks CSV / Excel template: date, type, what you sent and received, the fee, and any TDS.
- Upload it in HashBooks, check the preview, then confirm. Uploading the same file twice never double-counts.

Questions
BingX, answered.
Does BingX report my trades to the tax office?
Reporting depends on where BingX is regulated and where you live, so don’t rely on it. Your return has to include every sale and swap across all your platforms, which is what HashBooks brings together.
How are BingX futures and perpetuals taxed?
Closing a position realises a gain or loss, and funding you pay or receive adds to or reduces your result. HashBooks imports both from BingX and reports them under your country’s rules; the tax section above shows how your country treats them.
Does HashBooks need trading permission on BingX?
No. Create the BingX key with read access only and leave trading and withdrawals off. HashBooks has no code that can trade or withdraw, and the key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and deleted when you disconnect.
How do I get my BingX transaction history for taxes?
Connect BingX with a read-only API key and HashBooks pulls the history for you. You can also export a statement from BingX and upload it with the HashBooks template.
Which HashBooks plan do I need for BingX?
Connecting BingX and seeing an estimated tax summary is free for up to 100 transactions across 3 connections. Filing reports for your country start on the Starter plan; see pricing.
Can HashBooks trade or withdraw on BingX?
No. The key you create is view-only, and HashBooks contains no code that can trade, withdraw or transfer. It’s encrypted with AES-256-GCM and deleted the moment you remove BingX.
