Questions
Bitget Wallet, answered.
Does Bitget Wallet send a tax report?
No. Bitget Wallet is a self-custody wallet, so there is no broker to issue one. Your history is on the blockchains it connects to, and HashBooks reads it from your public addresses.
Will HashBooks ever ask for my Bitget Wallet recovery phrase?
Never. HashBooks needs public addresses only. Anyone asking for your recovery phrase or private key, including someone claiming to be from HashBooks or Bitget Wallet, is trying to take your funds.
Which HashBooks plan do I need for Bitget Wallet?
Connecting Bitget Wallet and seeing an estimated tax summary is free for up to 100 transactions across 3 connections. Filing reports for your country start on the Starter plan; see pricing.
Can HashBooks move anything from my Bitget Wallet address?
No. A public address shows history but can’t sign anything, and HashBooks never asks for a recovery phrase or private key. It reads; it can’t trade, withdraw or transfer.
