How to connect

Connect Coinone in a few minutes.

Pick the method that suits you — both land in the same ledger. Stuck? See connecting accounts in the help centre.

  1. On the Coinone website, open Open API from the footer, then 통합 API 관리 (integrated API management), then 개인용 API (personal API).
  2. Click 새로운 키 발급 (issue new key).
  3. Select only the lookup permissions you need to read data: balance lookup, customer information, deposit and withdrawal history, and order lookup. Do not select order placement and cancellation or withdrawal.
  4. Register the IP addresses that can use the key. Registration is required when the key is issued. Only public IPv4 addresses are accepted, and each key allows up to 5 IPs.
  5. Save the Access Token and Secret Key shown after the key is generated.
  6. In HashBooks, choose Coinone under Integrations and paste the key and secret.

Good to know

Coinone specifics.

  • Coinone’s API doesn’t return your deposits and withdrawals. Add them from a statement if they matter for your cost basis.
  • The withdrawal permission can only be used with the primary portfolio.
  • The page recommends a fixed IP, because changing IP addresses on a dynamic connection can block API calls.

Security

A read-only Coinone key, and nothing more.

The Coinone key you create can only view. HashBooks has no way to place an order or move funds, stores the key encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and deletes it when you disconnect. How HashBooks keeps data safe.

Questions

Coinone, answered.

Does Coinone report my trades to the tax office?

Reporting depends on where Coinone is regulated and where you live, so don’t rely on it. Your return has to include every sale and swap across all your platforms, which is what HashBooks brings together.

Does HashBooks need trading permission on Coinone?

No. Create the Coinone key with read access only and leave trading and withdrawals off. HashBooks has no code that can trade or withdraw, and the key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and deleted when you disconnect.

How do I get my Coinone transaction history for taxes?

Connect Coinone with a read-only API key and HashBooks pulls the history for you. You can also export a statement from Coinone and upload it with the HashBooks template.

Which HashBooks plan do I need for Coinone?

Connecting Coinone and seeing an estimated tax summary is free for up to 100 transactions across 3 connections. Filing reports for your country start on the Starter plan; see pricing.

Can HashBooks trade or withdraw on Coinone?

No. The key you create is view-only, and HashBooks contains no code that can trade, withdraw or transfer. It’s encrypted with AES-256-GCM and deleted the moment you remove Coinone.
